  if anyone has the november 15, 2002 watchtower, could you scan pages 6 and 7?

  (i believe these are the correct pages).

  these pages contain an artist (mis)conception of a first century christian meeting compared with a modern kingdom hall meeting.. this picture would be an example of how the watchtower presents history to suit its own purposes.. thanks in advance..

  Convention without a 'Badge'

  i attended a convention recently but didn't wear a badge i was treated with the utmost suspicion.

  particularly when i arrived during the sessions one day.

  the attendant didn't want me wandering off to find a seat on my own.

  i haven't worn a badge for the last few district assemblies and i did get quite some strange looks. i also overheard one sister asking my host about why i wasn't wearing a badge..

  JW's are so hot on their views being respected but they do not respect anyone elses!

  jw's face a tide of "no"s and "not interested"s everytime they go banging on the doors, surely it would have occurred to them by now that the vast majority of the public don't want to know and don't want them at their doors.

  but do they acknowledge or listen to this?

  regardless of wether they have priviously been told not to call or not still they come.. they claim that its because jesus has comanded them to do so.

  Why are Pantsuits not appropriate according to The Watchtower?

  why do the jws consider pansuits worm by women not appropriate attire?.

  pantsuits are considered appropriate attire in the conservative business world.. secretary of state hilary clinton wears pantsuits quite often.. would pantsuits be considered appropriate for a visit to bethel?

  if someone showed up at bethel wearing them, would be be asked to leave?.

  what if some apache girl finds her self identity as a queer punk rocker? is that against her roots or nature or what?

  over a year ago i knew i had to resign my position as elder because of many reasons.

  i was the youngest elder being 40ish... and there had already been some resistance to my wanting to cut back on the many responsiblities i had.

  i knew that to make it easier for me to resign, there had to be some replacement.

  Judas and Unforgivable Sin

  i'll be the first to admit that i haven't done the research on this one, and i can't remember the answer from my jw days - but there's something bothering me about the scenario of judas and his betrayal of jesus.. considering that the betrayal of jesus by judas was foretold in prophecy, it was essentially set in stone.

  it was going to happen, it was an absolute because divine prophecy is correct.

  judas had to betray jesus in order to fulfil prophecy.. now, i've always personally believed that a person does not sin by an act that they cannot avoid, but this seems like kind of the motherload of standing on the traintracks.

  what was the big betrayal then? it's not like jesus was hiding and noone knew his whereabouts...

  or was it a "i am jesus", "no, i am jesus", "no, over here, i am jesus" situation and judas picked the real one out of the gang?

  will the real jesus please stand up
